What makes SDiary different from other similar applications? Ease of use! One click simplicity encourages use by all users, not just the technically minded!
Is thera a limit to the number of active SDiary users? There is no physical limit, but practical number can be affected by the volume of data entered. (if all data cannot be seen then user would need to <right click> the required day to expand the view). Weekview option will show large amounts of data. Current sites range from 5-50 users.
Can anyone edit the diary? All users have rights to view the diary and phonebooks. Edit rights are controlled via 'privilege' settings on user records.
How do we install? The diary database is installed (copied) to a shared network drive, the program must be installed on each user pc via Windows (.msi) installer.
Do we require annual updates? No, the initial diary is empty, national holidays, special days etc. can be set up manually as and when required.
Can I install as a personal diary? Yes, but the purpose and strength of SDiary is its multi-user capabilities.
